I’ve lost the plot

Actually I haven’t lost the plot, but I seem to have forgotten a lot of the details. Like where I’m supposed to go on various days. I forgot to go to a party today. Second party I’ve forgotten this week. I have developed a fear of calendars now, to add to [...]

How many meals do you have?

The average person has between four and eight meals that they will rotate through.
I think I’d be closer to the eight. So I’ve got to learn eight new vegan recipes to get me through the next however many weeks until Christmas.
Feeling pretty tired now. I can see why slowing down your schedule during [...]

2 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp dried basil
3 cloves garlic
Cook it all in a [...]

I’ve fasted from other things before, “given something up for God,” and it has [...]

Kosheri recipe

I’m feeling really good after the Bishop’s visit. The birds are singing, the sun is shining and I’m floating a cm or two off the ground. I feel light and content. I feel at ease and at home, and in the right place. No doubt there is hard work ahead.
This is [...]

Advent fast day 8

It’s raining today. Real rain, that keeps falling steadily all night and day. It’s committed. It’s so beautiful. People are out in in, kids are dancing in it, and nobody minds in the slightest, even though the concrete can’t be poured, and the sports can’t be held. It’s [...]
