I made Jelly.

I made jelly out of grape juice and gelatine. And it tastes good! All those years of turning my nose up at the idea of using gelatine. Why would I think that bright pink sugar crystals in a box would be better than jelly made from fruit juice? I don’t know.

new compost

I’ve started composting! I took my sprouted lentils, which smelt like rotten egg, and dumped them on a pile of straw and covered it with more straw. Done! I’ll see what else I can find to dump there. There’s not much by the time the chickens, guinea pigs and worms are feed. [...]
