Magic prayer words

I have been told many a time that there are no magical words when you pray. Saying the right words will not mean God will hear you any better than if you say any other words. But I have in fact believed that there are magical words to pray, and those words I [...]

I missed it

My wiblogging first anniversary. Back in August I think. Come a very long way since then.
Tractor girl just hit her 1 year mark and celebrated appropriately. Drop in and say hi.

Where have I been?

I’ve hardly blogged at all lately. I haven’t felt that I had anything exciting to share. I think that possibly this is because I have been going to bed early. For months now, I’ve been going to bed at … wait for it… 10pm. Sometimes even 9.30pm. I’m sure it’s [...]

Cleaning time

15 minute mark- dining room table cleared, dishwasher packed
30 minute mark- nearly finished the dishes, shopping away
45 minute mark- finished dishes, cleaned stovetop, wiped bench, checked email once, looked up net once.
55 minute mark – floor swept, I’m taking the bin out right now.

Inspiration

If you have love one for another.

O.k. Church is not going well. Somewhere back there in the archives of Jan and Feb is all this stuff about feeling connected to the place, and love and family and stuff like that.
Now I just feel really disconnected. Really, I think if I died, no one would miss me. [...]

Searching for … something

If I ended world hunger three weeks ago, I’d be bored already. And I’d be moaning about how I’d never done anything with my life. When people said, “But you ended world hunger,” I’d say, “Oh yeah, there was that, but that was three weeks ago. What am I doing now? [...]
